Endometriosis
Endometriosis is not “just bad cramps.”
It is a chronic, inflammatory, estrogen-sensitive condition that can affect your pelvis, bowel, bladder, energy, mood, fertility, and quality of life.
If your period pain disrupts your work, relationships, sleep, or mental health — that is not normal. And you deserve more than dismissal.
At Coven Women’s Health, we provide coordinated medical, nutrition, and mental health support to help you manage symptoms and regain stability.

What Is Endometriosis?
Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. This tissue responds to hormonal changes, leading to inflammation, pain, and sometimes scarring.
It may affect:
Ovaries
Fallopian tubes
Bowel
Bladder
Pelvic lining
Deep pelvic structures
Symptoms vary widely. Many women wait years for diagnosis.
Common Symptoms
Severe menstrual cramps
Pelvic pain outside your period
Pain with sex
Painful bowel movements
Bloating (“endo belly”)
Heavy or irregular bleeding
Fatigue
Fertility challenges
Anxiety or depression related to chronic pain
Pain that interferes with life is enough reason to seek care.
Why Endometriosis Care Is Often Fragmented
You may have been told:
“It’s normal.”
“Take birth control.”
“Your imaging is normal.”
“Just manage the pain.”
Endometriosis cannot always be seen on ultrasound.
Pain severity does not always correlate with imaging findings.
And treatment is not one-size-fits-all.
Care requires reassessment, coordination, and personalization.
